LG's latest flagship is designed to meet the high-end
expectations of Android. Advanced users of Android phones were thrilled.
Fortunately, most of these requirements were met. As the successor to one of
G3's best G3 phones (mobile tablets) last year, the G4 has a removable rear
panel, expandable storage and replaceable batteries - this is the last Android
smartphone maker.
Very slightly Bent:
Like most other LG smartphones, the design of the G4 is quite
modest. LG will not win any design prizes for the G4's appearance. Compared to
the Samsung Galaxy S6 or iPhone 6 Plus, it feels a bit cheaper. A very slight
curve on the screen is unusual and should let the phone survive without a
screen. I did not take the test, but like his banana-shaped brother, the phone
feels like it could be hit once or twice. The power button and the volume
button are hidden on the back of the camera, which I really like. The screen
itself is one of the best ever developed for smartphones, with very black,
realistic colors and a pixel density of 538 pixels per inch, which makes it
very clear. In contrast, the Samsung Galaxy S6 has a pixel density of 577ppi
and Apple's iPhone 6 Plus 401ppi.
Product Specifications:
In terms of specifications, LG has made a strange processor
selection for the G4. Normally, the flagship smartphone uses a high-end
processor, but the G4 is agile with the six-core Snapdragon 808 from Qualcomm
instead of the chip maker's most powerful Octacore 810, and is sensitive
without any delay or power shortage. The parallel G4 test for the Samsung
Galaxy S6 shows little difference in loading applications, playing games, and
browsing menus.
The advantage of the G4 is the battery life. I can easily do
two days of G4 work with just one load, including push emails during the day,
hundreds of push notifications, some streaming music, and about 20 camera
snapshots. The LG4 does not have built-in wireless charging, requires an
optional case and loads more than many competitors, but you'll need to charge
half.
Simple, Fast and Entertaining:
LG adjusts the Android standard experience on its smartphone.
The system is often colorful and offers owners a variety of options for making
changes to G4 Android that are easier and more popular. For example, users can
customize the default Android home page, the back button, and the multitasking
soft keys to rearrange or change the font and text size. A very simple
"beginner" interface - the words of LG - is also available. LG's
Smart Announcement Home Screen Panel is designed as an instant replacement
feature by Google and gathers information from calendars, health monitoring
apps, and weather data. The best supplement to LG for Android is the typing and
typing code: Double-click to activate or sleep the screen, or tap the lock code
on the black screen to unlock the phone. Both work well and should be the
standard for Android.
Camera:
The camera of the G4 offers the best performance in low light
that I have tested on my smartphone. The aperture value is 1.8 (lens speed
measurement: the smaller the number, the brighter the picture is taken). Most
smartphones have more than two camera lenses. The iPhone 6 has a aperture value
of 2.2. Some have the same aperture value as the Galaxy S6. From a perspective
viewpoint, the fixed focus lens of the Nikon digital SLR camera that captured
G4 photos has an F-value of 1.8. In addition to numbers makes the G4 dull days
and indoor shots like bright sunlight with no textures or artifacts. The
picture is crisp and clear, the color is accurate and lively and the camera
quickly focuses. The shallow depth of field is also noticeable and produces a
pleasant bokeh effect.
The camera app has a manual mode that allows users to access
white balance, focal length, ISO values, shutter speed, and RAW image files.
Each of these files can be set with a user-friendly slider. However, automatic
mode copes well with most situations. If you turn off the automatic make-up
effect, the front camera is also one of the best I have tried so far.
