Samsung unveiled its next-generation Notebook 9 Convertible
notebook on Thursday, which will hit the market next year. The new range of
convertibles includes models with a 13.3-inch display or a 15-inch display.
These models are designed for professionals who need the power of Intel Core i7
CPUs and the convenience of a pen in a relatively portable case. It is also
noteworthy that the new systems are the industry's first PCs from a reputable
brand with a UFS card reader.
Samsung's notebook series is known for its portability and
moderate pricing. The company has been expanding this product family for some
time. The Notebook 9 Pro was introduced mid-2017, the Notebook 9 Pen end of
2017 and the Notebook 9 Spin Convertibles somewhere along the line, which

on Intel's 8th Core i7 processor (Think Quad-Core Whiskey Lake), which is accompanied
by LPDDR3 memory and a PCIe / NVMe SSD. The 13.3-inch model relies on the Intel
Graphics UHD 620 iGPU, while the 15-inch SKU features an NVIDIA GeForce MX150
graphics card with 2GB of RAM for added graphics comfort. In terms of security,
Samsung's Notebook 9 pen systems include a fingerprint reader and an HD webcam
with IR sensors for Windows Hello face recognition.
