Samsung has recently introduced a new notebook called
Notebook 9 Pen (2019). These convertibles are available in white or blue, in
13-inch or 15-inch formats, and are shipped with the latest 8th Intel
processors and, as mentioned, a responsive Silo S-Pen. Other modern subtleties
are; Face and fingerprint login options, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, PCIe NVMe
expandable memory, Gigabit Wi-Fi, and long battery life (up to 15 hours).
Samsung has a reputation for producing the most modern, sleek and lightweight
devices, and these all-metal and aluminum frame designs really fit into this
bill.
The Samsung Notebook 9 Pen, an innovative class of premium
laptops of the highest class, is in urgent need of updating. Samsung has
significantly redesigned the 2019 versions of the Notebook 9 Pen. Samsung tries
to reassure creative people who regularly use digital screens and laptops for
their work. In other words, the Samsung Notebook 9 Pen 2-in-One is ideal for
professionals who want the convenience of a full-fledged laptop and the
flexibility of a tablet in a single device. The laptops come with Samsung's S
Pen, a powerful and versatile pen optimized for the company's touch-enabled
devices.
The aluminum frames of the Samsung Notebook 9 Pen
Convertibles feature a diamond-to-diamond-cut metal finish, highlighting the
dense color variations of Ocean Blue and Platinum White. The 13-inch model
measures 307.9 x 206.2 x 14.9 - 15.9 mm and weighs 1.12 kg. For the 15-inch
model, the dimensions are 347.9 x 229.1 x 16.9 mm. The only difference between
these models (even the battery capacity is the same) is that the 15-inch
Samsung Notebook 9 Pen is equipped with an Nvidia GeForce MX150 (2 GB) and is
not only dependent on the iGPU from Intel.
In these convertible laptops, Samsung has installed an Intel
8th Gen Core i7 processor, 16 GB LPDDR3 RAM, a 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD and a
Gigabit Wi-Fi component with 802.11 ac wave2 2X2. Of course, these are
touchscreens that work with the included stylus. Both have a narrow bezel with
1920 x 1080 pixels. Samsung's latest S-Pen, which sits neatly in the chassis
silo under the palm rest, is said to have half the latency of its predecessor.
A suite of software tools in addition to the pen-friendly software from
Microsoft enhances the S-Pen experience. Samsung's keyboard is backlit and the
trackpad looks pretty neat. The following connections are available:
Thunderbolt 3 (2), USB-C (1), HP / MIC, UFS and Micro SD Combo. Notebook 9 pen
computers can be logged in via the HD IR camera with fingerprint or face recognition.
Samsung promises clear, flawless studio-quality sound with 5G stereo stereo
speakers set by AKG, and there's a new Thunder Amp Smart Amplifier.
The S-pen supplied with the Samsung Notebook 9 comes with
three different tips. These soft but reportedly long lasting tips change the
"feel" of the pen on the display. Samsung has designed an elongated
groove in the Notebook 9 Cabriolets to safely and easily stow the S Pen when
not in use. The upcoming convertibles from Samsung will receive a three-month subscription
to the MyScript Nebo app. The versatile AI-based application can recognize
drawn notes and convert them to digital text. It can also clean up hand-drawn
diagrams and diagrams.
