HTC has been at the top of the game in terms of quality
lately, and that's also evident here. The Desire 10 Pro has a metal case that
feels good when you hold it down and also provides a good grip. There are
golden accents on the edges, camera eyelets and back, which give this phone a
very eye-catching look. The "Stone Black" color option we received
has a rubberized back texture that will certainly help with grip, but also
easily cause wear and tear, some of which will not go away. We are not sure if
the other color sections have this problem as well. However, if you have the
black version in mind, you may want to use a case.
HTC has equipped the Desire 10 Pro with a high quality
display. The 5.5-inch IPS panel produces good brightness with good color and good
contrast. The Full HD resolution ensures a fairly high number of pixels, so
that no visible pixel and symbol effects are visible. There is also gorilla
glass for extra protection. The display is set to a neutral tone by default.
However, you can adjust the color temperature in the app settings. The space
above the display is slightly higher than the area below, making the phone
slightly longer than it should.
The power and volume buttons are on the right side and have
good tactile feedback. The on / off switch also has some edges so that it is
easy to recognize. On the left side of the HTC Desire 10 is the Hybrid SIM slot
for two Nano SIM cards or a Nano SIM and a Micro SD card (up to 2TB) to expand
the phone's memory. At the top there is a headphone jack, at the bottom a
