Microsoft
is planning to launch the Xbox All Access service that runs the Xbox Live
console Xbox Live and the Xbox Game Pass for a monthly fee. Microsoft, named
Project Largo, has been working on subscription services for the last few
months. Users familiar with Microsoft's program told The Verge that Xbox One S
and Xbox One X would be offered as subscriptions, and Microsoft intends to
offer Xbox One X with Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass 24 months at $ 34.99 a
month.
The
subscription will be offered at Microsoft's retail store that also works with
computer vendors to provide that service elsewhere. Microsoft initially
restricted the Xbox All Access service to consumers, but if it does, it may
appear in other markets in the future. For more than six years, Microsoft has
also offered a subsidized Xbox 360 Xbox Live Gold package.
Microsoft
is also developing a new Xbox accessory called Washburn. The maker of the
software was to launch a $ 149 add-on to Gamescom and unexpectedly canceled a
statement about "the new Xbox hardware" before changing the company
plan. This secret accessory will be launched in October, only after Microsoft
has launched Forza Horizo 4. It does not follow Xbox Elite, but hopes that
the company will present its new hardware as soon as possible.
