When the Wii was released in 2006, Nintendo was a big
success. When the Wii U was released and proved to be a complete disaster, the
Wii sold over 100 million units. In 2013, there seems to be some life on the
non-HD console after five years. At least this is THQ Nordic's idea. Nintendo
Enthusiast reported that this week's Austrian video game publisher confirmed
via Gamescom 2018 that Let's Sing 2019 (developed by Ravenscourt Games) will be
released on the Wii as well as on PS4 and the switch. This may sound crazy, but
you can pay back to the publisher.
In general, new games like game consoles, especially Nintendo
consoles, begin to appeal to younger customers. Over 100 million Wii sales and
songs and dances are the most popular games on the Wii. THQ Nordic's question
may not be the reason. Since the latest consoles are backwards compatible,
publishers target Wii U uniquely to target Wii U users. While dust can
accumulate on the hardware, parents will see this new game sold to gain
popularity this holiday season (assuming release this year).
We hope to hear sales data since launch. If important, more
developers and publishers will have to consider the Wii's location next year.

THQ Nordic announced that it will release a new game, the

* Monster Jam - THQ Nordic has a worldwide multi-platform,
multi-platform MonsterJam® video game license agreement. This series was
developed by our in-house developer Rainbow Studios. The first game will be
released in 2019.
* Biomutant and Aquanox Deep Descent will be more
sophisticated and will be announced by THQ Nordic in 2019.
* Kingdom Come Deliverance - Another DLC of the current game.
* Saints Row the Third - Nintendo Switch is expected to be
released by Deep Silver Fish Lab.
* Auto mechanic simulator - With the release of PS4 and Xbox
One, the best-selling PC series will be released. Ravenscourt will be a global
entity publisher.
