The Sony Xperia Z1 is as good as what you get from Sony
Xperia with a super-powerful quad-core processor, advanced HD screen,
20-megapixel camera and waterproof glass body.
Design:
Thin discs less than 9mm are quite thin, but the glass is
heavy and weighs 170g with new aluminum bands. Once you pick it up, the quality
of this kit is a good deal, but it feels clogged in your hands and you can
still pull something into your bag. Its waterproof surface, which Sony itself
wants to manufacture, and the SIM card, microUSB and microSD card slots (up to
64 GB) are all protected behind the company's cover and stored at a depth of
1.5 meters. Interestingly, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack, but it's sealed
inside so you can hear it, but you do not have to close it every time you pull
the plug.
The 5-inch screen offers the same HD resolution of 1920x1080
pixels as the previous product, and at 441ppi it's hard to imagine it’s much
better, to be honest. It looks sharper and looks more natural (eg not always
the case with ultramodern Amoled screens). Sony still believes it has improved
performance with the "Triluminos" technology, which comes from the
latest high-end televisions. It's not clear what the difference is, but it's a
great screen, whether you're watching HD movies or loading high-density web
pages that are flickering.
Processor and software:
The original Xperia Z was equipped with a quad-core
processor, but now it jumps from 1.5 GHz to 2.2 GHz and supports full 2 GB of
RAM. It's just the best specification I've seen on a smartphone. And in our
AnTuTu benchmark tests, he even reached 34,986 points ahead of the still
weakening Samsung Galaxy S4 and LG Optimus G2 in the mid-20s. HD games were not
afraid, and Real Racing 3 was smoother and livelier than we had seen.
Photography:
The camera has grown from 13 megapixels to 20 megapixels and
has a much higher specification than most smartphones, with the exception of
the Nokia Lumia 1020. There is a special shutter that is not in Z. It's a great
little snapper to use with Sony's Exmor light sensor and various settings to
enhance a small number of photos, including smiley shutters, face registration
and bursts. If you do not try to compensate for the contrasting conditions,
some scenes may be washed out in the automatic setup, but the picture quality
is generally good. It has a big battery of 3,000mAh, but it is a very powerful
mobile phone and it takes charges that we can use hard all day long.
Conclusion:
The phone still has a slightly industrial feel, especially
compared to the most competitive Galaxy S4. It gives a rounded feel compared to
the original Xperia Z. It is probably closest to the HTC One. The metal housing
surrounds a large frame. Robust, durable and waterproof as the S4, you can take
20.7 megapixel photos in the bathtub. Sony has bundled a 3,000mAh battery so
the phone and powerful CPU cannot keep ticking all day.
There are various photo applications,
Rapid Burst mode for video capture and social media integration, but they are
not stored in the Full Review view. The Xperia Z1 is a promising new model that
looks like a competing camera with intense computing power. Many British
networks have confirmed that prices will remain mysterious, but will rethink phone
calls in September.
