In the era when smartphone makers equipped their smartphones
with night mode features, Sony has decided to remove the plugin for this
feature. The company said that the upcoming Oreo update on the XPERIA XA1 will
remove the night mode feature on the phone. The news comes from the official
Twitter page of the company.
The Sony XPERIA XA1 series has a "Good Night
Action" feature that reduces the screen's Blu-ray screen similar to night
mode or Blu-ray filters in cell phones. Many leading mobile phone manufacturers
have night mode but not Sony. The company has never added this feature to its
stable software, but lately the XPERIA XA1 series has been extended to include
a derivative of the feature. But now it will disappear. The XPERIA XA1 series
loses this feature for the proximity mode after receiving the long-awaited Oreo
update. The company also confirmed to Twitter users that there are currently no
plans to equip XPERIA phones with such features. It is also recommended that
users use third-party applications.
Sony has started introducing new updates for its XPERIA XA1
and XA1 Plus smartphones. The builds reached build numbers 40.0.A.6.189 and
48.0.A.1.131 respectively, and the update brought the Android security fix in
January. It also includes fixes for recently discovered Specter and Meltdown
vulnerabilities. The Android version is still nougat 7.0. As in the case of

specifications, the performance of the XA1 is still very fluid (MediaTek Helio
P20 works with Mali-T880MP2 GPU and 3 GB DDR4, RAM). If the screen is 1080p, we
are sure that it will appear suddenly, but not. Its benchmark is slightly
slower than the Moto G5 and G5 Plus, but the difference in the real world is
small. Battery life is good, but not very good: you can expect to make modest
use of the fees, but on more demanding days it can be shallow. You can enable
